Adding a video to your ad can help buyers better understand what you’re selling. You can upload a video when creating a new ad, or return later to edit your ad and add one.
Adding a Video to a Live Ad
To upload a video to an existing ad:
Go to My Ads.
Select Edit Ad.
Click “Add your own YouTube video”, or
Paste the YouTube URL into the “Optional YouTube Video” field.
You can also add the YouTube link during the Place Ad process by entering it in the same Optional YouTube Video field.
Important: YouTube Shorts
If your video is a YouTube Short, you will need to adjust the link before adding it.
For example:
Original Shorts link:
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/EADlDGOBe2c
Change it to:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EADlDGOBe2c
Replace shorts/ in the URL with watch?v= so the video will display correctly in your ad.
App Limitation
The option to add a video is currently not available within the DoneDeal app.

A desktop web browser, or
Your mobile web browser
