The Message Centre allows people to contact advertisers, without the bother of having to send a text message or write an email* to exchange contact details or to ask about the advertisement.
To send a message to a DoneDealer, simply click on "Send Message" in the contact section of the sellers advertisement. Type your message into the text box and click "send". Please note that in order to send a message you would first need to have a DoneDeal account set up and be logged into it.
To make sure you don't miss out on any new messages you'll see a notification alert on your account if you get a message.
You will also be able to manage all your messages via your DoneDeal account by clicking on the Messages section of your account.
If you click into a message you will be able to see your full conversation thread you had with this DoneDeal user. You would also see the 3 dots in top right corner which will allow for you to do certain functions such as Block Conversation or Report User.
We have integrated the Message Centre to our iOS & Android apps. Just be sure to have the latest versions installed to use it.
*The Message Centre is a convenient way to ask questions and learn more about an advertisement. However, the Message Centre is not intended for finalising agreements, and messages sent through it will not form part of a binding contract. To that end any agreements regarding terms, payment, or delivery must be arranged separately from the DoneDeal website. For your safety, be cautious when communicating outside the Message Centre. Always stay alert to potential fraud and verify details before making any transactions.
