Purpose
Our API is provided exclusively to support a single dealer’s official digital presence and tooling. Access is granted only for the purposes when the API powers websites or services that:
* Are owned, controlled, or operated on behalf of the specific dealer, and
* Present only that dealer’s stock, and/or
* Serve as part of the dealer’s primary online retail experience.
Authorised Use
API consumers are permitted to:
* Retrieve and display vehicle data solely for the dealer(s) explicitly approved for access.
* Use this data only on the dealer’s own website, OEM-approved site, dealer tooling, or a site built specifically for and dedicated to that dealer.
* Implement the API in a manner where the dealer is the sole beneficiary and sole source of inventory displayed.
* Use the API only for the specific domain(s) and implementation submitted and approved during the access request.
* All usage must remain exclusively within the dealer’s own authorised digital properties and may not be extended to, embedded in, scraped by, or accessed through any other party’s systems or services.
Dealer Authorization & Consent
* Mandatory Consent: No API key shall be associated with a dealer’s data without explicit, documented consent from an authorised representative of that dealer.
* Request Origin: While a third-party provider may initiate a technical request, access will only be provisioned once the dealer has verified the relationship.
* Verification: We reserve the right to contact the dealer directly to verify the third party’s authority to access their inventory before activating or updating an API key.
* Revocation of Consent: If a dealer notifies us that a third party is no longer authorised to manage their digital presence, API access for that specific implementation will be terminated immediately.
Data Handling & Responsibility
API consumers must:
* Handle data securely and use it only for the approved dealer’s online presence.
* Ensure the accurate and unaltered display of the dealer’s stock.
* Remove all dealer data when access ends or the implementation changes.
Changes & Oversight
Any changes to:
* the implementation,
* destination domain(s),
* service provider, or
* the nature of the digital experience must be reviewed and reapproved prior to deployment.
We will monitor usage and may adjust or revoke access where required.
