If you come across an advert that doesn’t seem right, reporting it is the best thing you can do. It helps us review the listing quickly and keep DoneDeal safe for everyone.
You don’t need to be certain an ad is a scam—if something feels off, it’s always okay to report it.
Where to find the report option
On every advert, you’ll find the Report option underneath the advert description.
It’s easy to access and only takes a moment to use.
How to report an advert
Step 1: Click “Report Ad”
Select the Report Ad option below the advert description.
Step 2: Choose a reason
You’ll be asked to categorise your report.
Choose an option from the list that best matches your concern.
Step 3: Add a short description
Use the description box to explain what you’ve noticed.
The more detail you can share, the easier it is for our team to review the advert properly.
Step 4: Submit your report
Once submitted, your report is sent directly to our specialist team for review.
