⏸️ Withdrawing Your Ad
Withdrawing an ad removes it from public view without deleting it. This is useful if you're in the final stages of closing a deal and don’t want new enquiries.
To withdraw an ad:
- Go to My Ads, click Manage > Withdraw on the relevant ad.
Want to relist it later?
No problem—just go back to the withdrawn ad and click Manage > Relist to make it live again.
🗑️ Removing Your Ad
If your item has sold or is no longer available, you can remove your ad.
To remove an ad:
- Go to My Ads, click Manage > Remove on the ad you want to delete.
- Selecting the option that the ad was sold will fully remove it from the site, while other options will keep the ad as removed and give you the option to publish the ad again in the future.
❓ FAQ
Q: Why does my ad show as "Removed" after I edited it?
Some edited ads are temporarily reviewed before being published again. While under review, your ad will appear as Removed.
We review ads and edits on a daily basis for a wide range of reasons and this means an ad will show as awaiting review. You’ll receive an email once the review is complete, either confirming the ad has been approved and is live again, or explaining why it was rejected.
Q: How can I remove an expired ad?
Expired ads can only be removed through the web version of DoneDeal.
To remove an expired ad:
- Log in on the DoneDeal website.
- Go to My Ads.
- Find the expired ad and click Manage > Remove.
This option is currently not available in the app.
Q: My “My Ads” screen isn’t loading or appears empty. What should I do?
If the My Ads screen is not loading at all:
-
Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.
-
Then restart your device and try again.
If the My Ads screen loads but appears empty:
-
Go to your Profile page and check that you're logged in with the correct email address—the one used when placing the ad.
-
If you're logged in with a different account, your ads won’t appear.
