Need to make changes to your ad? Whether you're updating details, finalising a sale, or removing an old listing, managing your ad is quick and straightforward.
Start by navigating to the My Ads section of your DoneDeal account.
Editing Your Ad
If you forgot to include important details or photos, you can edit your ad at any time — free of charge.
On the Website
Log in to your DoneDeal account.
Hover over your name in the top right and click My Ads.
Click Manage > Edit beside the ad you want to update.
(Your advert must be live in order to edit.)Make your changes and click Save Changes.
Your ad will update instantly.
On the App
Open the app and log in.
Go to My Profile > My Ads.
Tap Manage > Edit on the relevant ad.
Make your changes and tap Save Changes.
Withdrawing Your Ad
Withdrawing an ad removes it from public view without deleting it. This is useful if you're in the final stages of agreeing a sale and want to prevent new enquiries.
To withdraw an ad:
Go to My Ads.
Click Manage > Withdraw on the relevant listing.
If you want to relist it later:
Go to the withdrawn ad.
Click Manage > Relist to make it live again.
Removing Your Ad
If your item has sold or is no longer available, you can remove the ad completely.
To remove an ad:
Go to My Ads.
Click Manage > Remove on the relevant listing.
Selecting the option that the item was sold will fully remove it from the site. Other removal options may allow you to republish the ad in the future.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does my ad show as “Removed” after editing?
Some edited ads are temporarily reviewed before being republished. While under review, the ad may appear as removed.
You will receive an email once the review is complete, confirming whether:
The ad has been approved and is live again, or
It has been rejected, with an explanation provided.
How do I remove an expired ad?
To remove an expired ad:
Log in to the website or app.
Go to My Ads.
Find the expired listing.
Click Manage > Remove.
Something isn’t working as expected.
If you encounter technical issues:
Clear your browser’s cache and cookies.
Restart your device.
If using the app, try deleting and reinstalling it.
If the issue persists, contact our Support Team.
My “My Ads” screen is empty. What should I do?
If the page is not loading at all:
Clear your browser’s cache and cookies.
Restart your device and try again.
If the page loads but shows no ads:
Check that you are logged in with the correct email address — the one used to place the ad.
If logged into the wrong account, sign out and sign back in using the correct details.
