You can withdraw an ad at any time. This is useful if you are finalising a sale, temporarily unavailable, or no longer wish to receive enquiries.
When Should You Withdraw an Ad?
Withdrawing your ad is helpful if:
You are in the final stages of agreeing a sale
You do not want to receive further calls or messages
You are temporarily unavailable
When withdrawn, your ad is removed from DoneDeal listings and search results. Buyers will no longer be able to contact you about it.
Marking an Ad as Sold
Once the sale is completed, you can mark the ad as sold.
This fully removes the listing from the platform and helps maintain a positive experience for buyers.
Relisting Your Ad
If the sale does not go ahead, you can relist the ad.
Relisting is free if done within the original lifespan of the listing.
Ad lifespans are:
30 days (depending on category or ad type), or
72 days
When you relist an ad:
It keeps its original publish date
It will appear as an older listing rather than a newly published one
Withdrawing and relisting give you flexibility while keeping you in control of your sale.
