Email Confirmation After Placing an Ad
When you place an ad, we send a confirmation email to verify that the email address you provided is correct.
This email should arrive within a few minutes of placing your ad.
If You Haven’t Received the Confirmation Email
If the email hasn’t arrived, please check the following:
1. Confirm You’re Logged Into the Correct Account
Make sure you’re signed into the same account you used to place the ad.
If you registered using Apple’s “Hide My Email” feature, your account may be linked to an alias email address (for example, one ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com) rather than your personal email address.
This can cause confusion if you try to log in manually using your regular email address.
Important: Signed Up with Apple ID?
If you created your DoneDeal account using Sign in with Apple, your account may have been set up using Apple’s private relay email address.
To access the correct account:
Sign in using the “Continue with Apple” option.
Ensure Apple’s Hide My Email feature is still enabled for DoneDeal in your Apple ID settings.
If you disable this feature, you may not be able to access the account linked to that private relay address.
If you're unsure which email address is linked to your account, signing in again using Apple ID is usually the quickest way to access the correct profile.
2. Check Your Junk or Spam Folder
Sometimes confirmation emails are filtered into your Spam or Junk folder.
Be sure to check there before requesting another email.
