How to Clear Cache and Cookies in All Major Web Browsers
Clearing cache and cookies can solve many browsing problems by refreshing your browser's data. It can improve loading times, fix site errors, and ensure that you're seeing the most up-to-date version of a website. Here's how to clear cache and cookies in the major web browsers:
Google Chrome
- Open Chrome and click the three dots in the upper right corner to open the menu.
- Go to More tools > Clear browsing data.
- Choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
- Check the boxes next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files".
- Click Clear data.
Mozilla Firefox
- Open Firefox and click the menu button (three horizontal lines) in the top right corner.
- Select Settings > Privacy & Security.
