The length of time your ad remains live on DoneDeal depends on the bundle you choose when placing it and the section you're placing it in.
The majority of ads stay online for 72 days, with some bundles or sections having a 30 day listing.
You can increase your ad’s visibility by selecting one of our paid bundle options when posting.

What Is a Bump?
A bump refreshes your ad and moves it back to the top of search results.
This helps increase visibility and attract more potential buyers.
Standard and Premium bundles include automatic weekly bumps, keeping your ad prominent throughout the 72-day listing period.
What Is a Spotlight?
A spotlight:
- Highlights your ad at the top of listings
- Runs for 5 days
- Rotates with other spotlight ads
Spotlights provide premium placement and increased exposure.
Tips to Get More Views
To improve your chances of a successful sale:
Use clear, high-quality photos and upload as many as your bundle allows.
Write a detailed and accurate description.
Respond promptly to enquiries.
Consider upgrading your bundle for additional visibility if needed.
Managing Your Ad
You can remove your ad at any time by logging into your DoneDeal account.
It’s recommended to remove your ad once your item is sold. This avoids unnecessary calls and helps maintain a positive experience for buyers.
If you are in negotiations or have agreed a sale but the transaction is not yet complete, you can temporarily withdraw your ad instead.
A few days before your ad is due to expire, we will send you a reminder email in case you wish to renew it.
